The Middle Ages??? What’s that? Let’s unravel the fascinating history of the Medieval era and learn about it in a child friendly way. This is how our dynamic and family friendly guides of our Paris tour come in! Our team of guides specializes in showing children how to make history exciting.
At the start of our Paris walking tour, our local tour guide will provide your children with an activity booklet that will keep them busy throughout the visit. Acting as private detectives and with the help of Casquette, a famous dog-archaeologist, they will have to solve a mystery in the medieval town around Notre-Dame. The investigation begins at Notre-Dame, the famous Cathedral. By lifting their eyes to the high towers or looking down at hidden clues on the ground, your kids will search for architectural details that will take them back in time all the way to the Medieval era.
On the journey to the Paris Law Court, you will learn about the kings and knights who inhabited that old palace. Both its decorations and architectural style hold the legacy of these extravagant times. Your kids can explore for themselves and find these long-lasting mementos.
Crossing the Seine river, you will travel through an old Parisian district, near the Saint-Michel fountain. You will see that the narrow medieval alleys, which are still untouched and quite authentic, are very busy. Along the way, Casquette will give the young investigators more details which will help them to solve the mystery. Now, we have arrived in before of the Hotel de Cluny (housing the National Medieval Museum), an authentic medieval manor, where the last clue remains which will give your kids the key to solving the mystery!

Our guide was the best guide we could ask for our family with two young kids. She kept them absorbed through 2 hours of the tour, without the kids being bored even for a second. It is a great way to show the sights to children, you can see that she was a former teacher and that was the best!
We have 3 children, and a private tour with Europe4kids is the only way to visit the city with kids. Our guide kept our children completely enthralled with her entertaining and knowledgeable stories. You can tell she previously worked as a school teacher. The kids learned so much about Paris and having fun, thank you Europe4kids
