The Orange Blossom Express was born in 1912 ( oldie but goodie, right? ) and it will take you on an amazing ride through the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. The railway is characterized, amongst other things, by the fact that the track width is 914 mm, which is infrequent nowadays; moreover it has several materials extremely varied and meticulously finished, and maintained using traditional methods.
After an enchanting 45 minute ride we’ll reach Soller, in the very heart of the orange valley, and from there you could choose to visit a painting exhibition, starring world-famous painters such as Picasso and Mirò, walking around the city enjoying the amazing architecture, full of art nouveau buildings, inspired by the Spanish master Gaudì. We could also take a stroll around the city center and visit the shopping area, where in local shop you can enjoy traditional products such as olive oil, marmalade and much more!
There is also a nice, small market to visit, a super tasty ice cream factory for a nice treat, and of course colorful venue where you can take the most amazing pictures!
You can also decide to ride the old school tram (1913!) down to the port. Ready for some San Francisco vibe?
